MESSAGE FROM EVENT DIRECTOR
I’ve spent the first months of my life in Aosta Valley and grew up considering the Mont Blanc “my mountain”. Since then, every time I come to this incredible corner of the world, I feel home. Moreover I learned skiing in La Thuile and have a lot souvenirs on its slopes, lifts, restaurants, disco and people. Bringing the EWS stop in La Thuile is an incredible occasion and I hope all the people who will joins us will bring back home a great experience. The mountains sourrounding the race area are among the most stunning in Europe. We are pretty lucky to have the chance to ride such a great scenario. I recommend all riders and their crew as well as spectators to take some time and sip the many and different opportunities La Thuile has to offer. I’m sure I will see you again next winter maybe around a table sipping together the “coupe de l’amitié”.

WAIVERS AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE)
Participating in the race implies an implicit acceptance of the associated rules in full. Each rider understands and admits that his/her participation in the event is voluntary. He/She assumes full responsibility for any injuries or damages from his/her participation in, or practice for, the event. He/She recognizes and understands that mountain biking and the activities associated with this
event may be dangerous, that his/her participation is solely at his/her own risk and that he/she assumes full responsibility for any resulting injuries and damages that may occur. He/She acknowledges that riding during this race will be of a high technical standard and many of the trails require riding at high speed.

Every rider affirms that he/she is in good health. He/She declares that he/she is physically fit and capable to participate in the event. Every rider understands it can be a strenuous day. Every rider has to acknowledge that he/she has read and understood this entire waiver of liability and agrees to be legally bound by it.

Minors (18 and under) will need to have the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

The organization maintains a civil liability insurance. But it is highly recommended that each rider has their own race insurance in order to cover any eventuality.
