The race starts from Loc. La Fonte in S. Caterina.
The first liaison is towards the Gavia pass along the road in direction of Loc. Plaghera for 4km of climb and about 300 meters in altitude. One arrived at the seventh hairpin turn, take the gravel road on the left direction Ponte delle Vacche. Follow this road for 150m and meet the start of Stage1 (The Line) on your left.

THE LINE Stage1 (1.5 km – 270m D-) The start is located at the beginning of a larch forest, which grows on the mountain slope oriented towards the village. After a few meters you immediately enter the real stage mood, with continuous changes of direction in a natural environment. Brief pedal section and then immediately back into the woods. From half of the trail to the end there are some dirt road crossings that mark the change of pace increasing the slope of the trail.

Liaison for Stage2.
Once arrived in the paddock area continue on the road towards Bormio for about 2,5km until you reach the start of the S. Caterina gondola. The cable car is made by two sections that you need to take both. Arrived at Sunny Valley take the dirt road that leads to the finish of Alpe Valley chairlift straight ahead. Once at the summit, go even a few meters uphill to the ridge where Stage2 starts.

DYNAMITE TRAIL Stage2 (1,9km – 260 D-) The Stage start at 2950m on a characteristic ridge that offers a 360 degree view on the mountains. The first part will be taped on open field with a rocky and high mountain meadows terrain with many off camber sections. Once across the road the trail changes completely into a single track rich in flow and speed. Beside some alpine lakes there are some short pedaled sections that lead to some tight turns and then open again in a fast section until the end of Stage.

Liaison for Stage3
The start of Stage3 is very close to the end of Stage2, just 500m climb after the bridge.

VALLEY ALPE Stage3 (3.3 km – 400 D-) This trail runs on a First World War trail crossing a valley that is still uncontaminated. The first part is particularly smooth on alpine meadows, with short technical sections characterized by tight turns the first pedaled section. Once at the little bridge, starts a more technical part of the trail with a lot of possible lines between the rocks until the end of the stage.

Transfer for Stage4
At the end of stage3 take the road in direction Gavia pass for 3.4 km and 250m in altitude. Once arrived at the Rifugio Berni take the trail on the left following the signs for Ponte di Pietra – Dos Bolon. From here on the liaison changes completely and becomes high mountain trail with some very exposed sections.
BE CAREFUL!!!!
Once through a waterfall (without the bridge) and after passing Il Baitino del Pastore you’ll reach the junction that leads to Dos Bolon and the start of the PS4.

DOS BOLON Stage4 (1.7 km – 350 D-) This trail is designed by nature on the slopes of DosBolon. It’s characterized by an infinite number of turns. It begins with a short technical and steep section and then enters in the larch forest with a series of switchbacks on either compact or stony terrain. As you descend into the lower part, the trail becomes smoother but close to the end there are some final tight turns again.

Liaison for Stage5
Liaison for PS5 is again short and along the forest in the direction S. Caterina. After about 1 km on the right you will find the start of Stage5 “La Linea” that will be repeated.
