COURSE DESCRIPTION
The race will be run on 5 Stages along the Sanremo Bike Resort trail network (San Romolo). The start/finish area, with the Event Village and Paddock will be in the Villaggio dei Fiori Resort (Sanremo). The first liasons will be partly by free shuttle, starting close to the Golf Area of Sanremo, while the rest of the liaisons will be pedalled.
The Junior categories race course will be on Stage 2 and Stage 3 with the first liaison by shuttle.
The E-Bike race course is the same for mountain bike race. The recharge zone will be located at the panoramic turn of Marzocco.

The trails in Sanremo are characterized by fixed and porous rocks with a sandy bottom and this is one of the reasons why it’salways ridable here, even in winter. With wet conditions you can drift still with a crazy grip.
The local organization and team building crew transformed the downhill trails into perfect enduro trails. They created numerous new lines and sections and the race course now is truly complete. The riders will face a very physical race but at the same time funny, with a great mix of technical sections, fast ones, some pedaling and parts where keeping the speed will be the key. The landscape around is simply beautiful.

LIASON 1
Total length 23 km – 11 km by shuttle
D+ 900 m
After the start from the Villaggio dei Fiori resort, riders will go along the bike lane crossing the center of the town with the famous Casino, the old train station and the old port. Before arriving to the shuttle pic up point in San Giacomo, golf course area, riders will meet the beautiful sanctuary of the Madonna della Costa. The shuttle will take drive up to the Perinaldo / Coldirodi junction. From this point riders will pedal until a steep uphill where a bit of portage is required to reach the Monte Carparo. From the top there is a spectacular view of Sanremo.

STAGE 1 – FLY TO SANREMO

LIAISON 2

At the end of STAGE1 riders will climb up on tarmac along the military road Coldirodi until the panoramic Curva del Marzocco, where a feed zone is set up. Then up to STAGE2.

STAGE 2 – TWO WALLS
Length 1.3 km
vertical drop 243 m

LIAISON 3
Length 2.8 km
D+ 200 m
After STAGE2 riders will pedal on tarmac always along the military road Coldirodi towards the curva del Marzocco, reaching from below the path that leads to PS1. Tht then have to repeat the portage but in the direction of STAGE3.

STAGE 3 – SUPERGRAVITY

LIASON 4

D+ 320 m
The liaison to STAGE4 always runs on the military road of Coldirodi towards the Marzocco curve from where the last Stage begins.

By car
The E80 highway (A10 Genova-Ventimiglia and A8 Mentone-Aix-en-Provence are part of it), links Sanremo to the French border and the main national highways.

By plane
It’s possible to land in Nizza or Genova and then reach Sanremo by car or train.
