A little village in the heart of the Val Sessrea, south west of the Monterosa winter freeride mecca, is seeing new life thanks to mountain biking.
Hometown of Alex Lupato, one of the fatsest Italian Enduro rider, the village of Coggiola opened his flowy trails to Superenduro raceing three years ago.
Over last weekend the opening of Superenduro 6th season saw more than 400 riders literally invading the venue with local inhabitants hosting the “Superenduristi” into their houses because of the lack of hotels.

An incredible warm welcome for the day where teams and riders showed their new racing tools for the season.
Saturday night the Main Room of the local School hosted the award ceremony of 2012 championship winners with a great party and local cuisine.
The sunday weather forecast, rain all day, has been confirmed by nature with several mm of rain washing the perfect dirt of the Coggiola hills.
Nevertheless more than 400 riders hit the trails on a reduced loop and had a blast day of riding and fun.
