In March, everyone is invited to the Superenduro season warm-up in Pogno. This is a chance for riders to test their new bikes, new teams to present themselves to the world and for fans to meet the riders. As the season dive head-long into a pro race a few weeks later, this will be an important weekend for the racers to get their eye in for the coming competition.

Sestri Levante PRO1 2011

For 2013 the championship kicks off in Sestri Levante. After taking a year out from the circuit in 2012, it is back by popular demand. Among regular racers it barely needs an introduction and it’s mix of stunning scenery and endless trails are the perfect place to open the season.

Dan Atherton - Punta Ala

It is at round two in Punta Ala when things get serious. The stunning resort on the beaches of Tuscany will play host to the first ever round of the Enduro World Series. The best riders in the world will take to the trails, alongside our regular Superenduro riders. Once again the racing will open with a Saturday prologue through the stunning, medieval streets of Castiglione della Pescaia, before moving to the trails of the Bandite Bike Park on Sunday.

The third race is still to be confirmed. The Superenduro team are working on the details now and hope to make an announcement soon.

PRO4 Madesimo Alex Lupato - Madesimo

As the summer comes on, it’s time to head for the high alps and for the second year running the circuit heads Madesimo for round four. In those kind of mountains there’s only one way to reach the top – ski lifts. This also gives the public a unique chance to get close to the racing. It’s at this point of the season the fight for the title starts to take shape too, with just two races left this could be the turning point in the championship.

PRO5 will return to another riders’ favourite – Sauze d’Oulx. For 2013 there will be a twist, this will be the first ever three day Superenduro race. Riders will compete at a different location each day – Sauze d’Oulx, Sestriere and Cesana and the team have more surprises for riders in store…

Sauze d'Oulx PRO5 Martin Maes - Sauze d'Oulx

Where else could the Superenduro and World Series circuits come to their dramatic conclusion other than Finale Ligure?

There’s not much that needs to be said about the Ligurian seaside resort. People have been coming from all of the world for this races for years, mix in the top riders from across the world and an already unforgettable race is set to become even better!

Vittorio Gambirasio Finale Ligure

Sprint races have not been forgotten for 2013 either – these are many people’s first opportunity to taste Superenduro racing. To open the season riders will head back to Pogno, where the MTB i Gufi will be ready to welcome them to the venue for last year’s Italian Championship. Their fun, flowing trails are set to be the perfect introduction for newcomers and welcome return for experienced riders.
Not long after, the Priero will host the second Sprint race. It was here that enduro racing took shape in Italy – they were running enduro-style races a year before Superenduro was born. It has been on the circuit for seven years and number eight is set to be just as good!

Andrea Bruno Tolfa

After a summer break, Monte di Tolfa will be back by popular demand. On its debut in 2012 the most southern race of the season managed to win the hearts of riders and fans.
To bring the season of Sprint racing to a close the series will head to Palazzulolo sul Senio. The quiet, picturesque valleys of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines has a reputation for welcoming riders that make it a welcome stop for the circuit.
