TRAIL DESCRIPTION

The third Supermountain race will be on the trails of the Mera Bike Park in Scopello. The start will take place at 1550m at the summit of Alpe di Mera. The race starts with a 500m sprint along as slight upslope to split the field and then it dives in to the pine forest and a series of switchbacks and steps. The trail traverses the ski piste, before re-entering the forest. Leaving the forest again, riders will cross the alpine meadows, with wide, fast turns taped out. The course joins the red trail to test riders strength and bike handling, it then merges into the more flowing blue run for about a kilometre. Again the track crosses the piste before entering the final forest, which will take riders to the final straight and then down the final straight, arriving at the piazza next to the ski life.
