On 5th-6th May Punta Ala (GR) played host to the round #2 of the Superenduro Powered by SRAM PRO Series. A physically and mentally challenging race: almost 60km long with 5 different stages, starting from the downtown prologue in Castiglione della Pescaia, to the rocky portions of the PS2 and the fast sections in the undergrowth of the PS4. The new season of Superenduro Powered by Sram 2012, started last weekend in Golfo Dianese with the firs round of the PRO series. The exciting contest between the top riders, grappling with the sudden change in climatic conditions marked this weekend.
