Finalenduro 2010, the latest step of an extraordinary season

Less than two weeks at the start of the Pro race in Finale Ligure, final stage of the third edition of SuperEnduro, the most popular Gravity circuit in Europe.
The weekend (23/24 October) is waiting the numerous competitors already enrolled at the start, with four special stages on Sunday and the addition of the night prologue on Saturday in town, for a total amount of height difference of about 1400 m along the routes of the Finale Ligure bike resort.
Very fast single track immersed in the Mediterranean Scrub, technical and steep sections with rocky bottom, in Finale there is something for all tastes, a tough race both physically and technically, but that can give satisfaction to every competitor.
The paths full of history and rich in breathtaking views make this area one of the most important destinations in Europe for biking and not a case for this 2011 edition “lands” on the final the cream of world mountain bike champions, the French DH World champions Nicolas Vouilloz and Fabien Barel, the great interpreter of SuperEnduro Karim Amour on his way back after the serious injury occurred early in the season, the Swiss champion Florian Golay and the Canadian legend Richie Schley.
The route of the race has two times the rise in San Bernardino with the special stages coming down “DOLOMEN” and “RUGGETA”. After the first round the athletes will return to the central square for the time control before facing the second round, which brings them back to San Bernardino where starts “CA DELLE VACCHE” until Calvisio, then up to the Manie for the last special named “BRIGA” with arrive in Finalpia.
The territory of Finale will surprise you and the organization is working on an amazing last stage of the 2011 SuperEnduro circuit.
The paddock area located a few steps from the sea, will be set up in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II and is going to be more alive than ever, with live concert on Saturday evening and many world leading companies presenting all the latest market MTB 2011.
The start of the Saturday night prologue is in schedule at 18:00, while on Sunday the first participant will go on stage at 9:30.
