Superenduro Powered By SRAM is back on the trails of Punta Ala, the location which opened the last edition of the Enduro World Series with a fantastic race and which is internationally appreciated for the quality of the trails as much as for the friendly hospitality found at the Punta Ala Camping Resort, the Tuscan-coast benchmark for the MTB enthusiasts.

We cannot wait to enjoy an awesome weekend of riding next on the 10 and 11 of May at the Bandite Trail Area, where the trails have a special Mediterreanean flavour and the terrain demands a good mix of technical skills and physical strength but it is able to offer a real spectacle to the public and rewards the finishers with enormous fulfillment by blending together the pleasure of the flow with the real effort of the challenge.

As planned by the new format of the Superenduro Series, there will be two days of racing: 2 Special Stages and 31 km of course during the Saturday and 3 Special Stages and solid 50 km of course during the Sunday (take a look at the race dossier – Scheda Gara – for more details about the trails).
The Punta Ala race confirms to be one of the toughest appointment of the Series, really able to vex even the best riders, who are already searching their mojo and inspecting the three fresh trails introduced for the first time at this round: “Kriminale Superveloce”, “Quercia Numerata“ and the “Gagliardo”.

Strengths and results seen at Sestri Levante will be confirmed?
At Punta Ala the Special Stages are quite diverse and they will suite very different riding styles: from rocky and groovy tracks, such as the classic Rock-Oh, to the toughest terrains of a number of sections in the new Special Stages, that will require resistance and stamina.
Those that aim at the final Superenduro podium know that giving their best at Punta Ala will be essential and that they cannot lose contact with the high positions of the ranking. No mistake is allowed: leaving Punta Ala with just a few or zero points will compromise their entire season!
Among the top riders, Ducci, Gambirasio, Alex Lupato, Fregona and Sottocornola, the enduro specialists, will face Denny Lupato, Milivinti and Casadei, who already showed to be solid in the battle for the victory.
Surprises and turns of events will take place there, no doubts.
