For the first time in eleven seasons Superenduro has cancelled a Round due to weather conditions. This – at least from the perspective of the competition – means that the battle has only been postponed. Due to the severe weather conditions with even several centimeters of snow on the stages, the race direction together with the race commissaries, the doctors and the Protezione Civile decided to cancel the race. It’s always sad when things like this happen, but the safety of the competitors comes first.
